Continued use of these apps may cause your IP to be blocked indefinitely. This triggers our anti-spambot measures, which are designed to stop automated systems from flooding the site with traffic. Some unofficial phone apps appear to be using GameFAQs as a back-end, but they do not behave like a real web browser does.Using GameFAQs regularly with these browsers can cause temporary and even permanent IP blocks due to these additional requests. If you are using the Brave browser, or have installed the Ghostery add-on, these programs send extra traffic to our servers for every page on the site that you browse, then send that data back to a third party, essentially spying on your browsing habits. We strongly recommend you stop using this browser until this problem is corrected. The latest version of the Opera browser sends multiple invalid requests to our servers for every page you visit. The most common causes of this issue are: But don't expect clear sounds with low end stuff.Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. To get anything remotely professional you gotta invest on the instrument, the interface, good cables, sound monitors, a mixer, and software which costs about 2k Investment, and that's with rather low end instruments and interfaces. It's important to remember that, the world of sound is really expensive. Though, I think you should research a bit more before any purchase cause I am not too sure myself how BADLY latency can affect a midi keyboard. Latency is one of those joy killers for aspiring home recording artists they get all excited thinking a simple adapater or just connecting their isntrument to their pc will allow them to get kicking. Those 3 are the reasons why one gets an interface. Lowest noise for recording instruments (12dB more dynamic range than similar interfaces)Įxclusive latency-killing ToneDirect™ monitoring It is a kb AND an interface fully capable of everything one would need a midi keyboard for ever Unless you're using an interface, directly connecting an instrument to the pc causes latency and delayed sound which makes it kinda unusable. The real issue however with direct connections is latency. ![]() ![]() If you want to make your composing life easier, having a MIDI keyboard with USB capabilities will help a lot. VSTs have limitation though, such as a Guitar VST won't ever be good as a real one for example.įor Basic Composition, you can use Anvil Studio or some sort and start with MIDI then use FLStudio/Reason/Reaper for Mixing. You first need to learn Music Theory, after that it's either you go full VSTs or use real instruments. It depends on how serious/the quality you want to do with composing. (Also, WHY IS THIS SITE STILL ON THE CENSORED LIST?) I'd still inform them that I'm using their music, naturally. So, I wouldn't need to, they already gave permission by doing this. The resources on NG's are free to use for any works without permission for Non-Commercial use via Creative Commons License. You can't tell for sure, if the artist is happy with the way you are using his music (or other ressources)? It should be free for him to decide to let you use it or not. Even if you are not earning anything from it. if you distribute it, if commercially or not, I think you should ask for permission. Then if I plan to sell it commercially, ask the permission of everyone's music I used and get the a-okay. One of the things I like to do is fine some good music on a site like NG and use it for my Non-Commercial projects. If you plan on doing it commercially, you'll need royalty free music, or music people give permission for anyone to use. Ever.:As long as you don't plan on selling the game, you can use almost any piece of music you want in your own personal game.
